Cameras Found In Pinellas Park Woman's Restrooms

Pinellas Park, Fla. (970 WFLA)- A 49 year old maintenance man is facing 14 charges of video voyeurism after  police say he placed cameras inside a couple of  woman's restrooms in the office building where he worked.  Police have identified a man seen in the videos as John Gibbs of Largo.

Police say their investigation started March 2nd, after receiving a call about a suspicious incident in one of the woman's restrooms.   Detectives say 14 different people, including several woman and two men were recorded.

The building is called The Smart 66 Rental Space.  It's in the 12,000 block of 66th street north in Pinellas Park.  It's home to 60 small business's, that share the common restrooms.

Pinellas Park Police think  Gibbs started recording the videos back in February and are asking anyone who either works, visited or has been a customer of any of the businesses, who thinks they may have been a victim to contact Pinellas Park Police at 727-369-7864.
