Dade City, Fla. (970 WFLA)- Just after 8 Tuesday morning, Pasco Firefighters responded to a 911 call reporting a house on fire in the 15300 block of Lee Avenue in Dade City.
When firefighters arrived they reported a single family, wood frame home, fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters also reported two nearby homes in danger due to the heavy smoke and flames.
The firefighters immediately started protecting the nearby homes, and also started their fire attack. Because the firefighters, acted quickly, the two homes were protected.
The home was empty at the time of the blaze. It took firefighters approximately 20 minutes to bring the fire under control.
There were no injuries reported, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
