The Tampa Bay area is under a TORNADO WATCH UNTIL 7 P.M. TUESDAY.
That means conditions are ripe for the formation of tornadoes due to a strong cold front passing though the state. Forecasters say we could see wind gusts of up to 60 mph through much of the afternoon.
The Tornado Watch is in effect for the following counties:
Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Manatee, Sarasota, Hernando and most of central Florida.
