Tampa Police Warn Office Workers To Secure Belongings

Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)-Tampa Police Detectives are asking if you can identify two woman who are accused of  stealing wallets and purses from professional office suites. 

The pair  of thieves stole personal items from an office building on West Cleveland  Street on March 13, and from an office suite in the 5600 block of Mariner  Drive on March 14.  Both thefts took place during the early afternoon hours. 

The woman immediately made purchases using the victims' credit/debit cards at several local  stores and online shops.

The two suspects were caught on surveillance  footage driving a newer model white 2-door vehicle with tinted windows.

Anyone with information who wishes to remain anonymous is asked  to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.   You may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.

In the meantime Tampa Police offer these  tips for office employees:

Secure valuables and personal belongings inside of a locked or secure area.

Escort  visitors or non-employees around the office space.

Manage access  to the front office suite entrance.

Report suspicious activity  to the Tampa Police Department at 813-231-6130.
