Wesley Chapel, Fla. (970 WFLA)-A Tampa Bay teenager is a step closer to his dream of stardom.
Seventeen-year-old Zach D'Onofrio of Wesley Chapel passed his audition on last night's season premiere of "American Idol" and got a golden ticket to Hollywood.
D'Onofrio won over the judges with his version of Frank Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight" with judge Katy Perry telling him he put the "you" in "unique" and judge Luke Bryan saying he slayed it.
