Largo, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A drunk driver rear-ended another car at high speed, sending that car into a power pole and killing its driver, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Nicholas Graham, 34, of Largo faces a charge of DUI manslaughter in the death of Wendall McMillan, 56. The FHP says that Graham sped west on Ulmerton Road just before 3 a.m. Friday when his car slammed into the back of McMillan's car. McMillan's car left the road and collided with a utility pole on the shoulder.
He died at the scene. Graham suffered serious injuries, and will go to the Pinellas County Jail when he recovers, according to a news release from FHP.
