Trinity, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-People in the area of northern Hillsborough County and up into southern Pasco County are having to deal with some smoke from a prescribed burn.
The Florida Forest Service is conducting a large prescribed burn just south of the Pasco line in Hillsborough County. Smoke from the fire is pushing north into the Trinity area, between Little Road and Starkey Boulevard.
Due to wind conditions, smoke is expected to continue to spread north through Pasco. Those conditions are expected to last into tomorrow.
The intentionally set fire is intended to burn up some dry brush before the wildfire season gets into high gear.
