MOSCOW (970 WFLA) -- Russian president Vladimir Putin claims he has a nuclear missile that can get around U.S. missile defenses... and he made Florida the target in a video presentation accompanying his "State of the Nation" speech.
Putin said his "Sarmat" ballistic rocket can't be intercepted... and showed a video that ended with missile shapes falling on the state of Florida. The missiles seemed to be centered on the I-4 corridor... Tampa to Orlando.
Putin said Russia was developing those weapons in response to the U.S. deployment of a missile defense shield in Europe. The Russian president insisted "no one listened" to Russia when it complained, and declared the west should "listen to us now."
