Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A fatal hit-and-run crash closed part of the Courtney Campbell Causeway for several hours Saturday morning, police said.
The accident at about 1:40 a.m. a half-mile west of Rocky Point Rod. involved a motorcycle and at least two other vehicles. Tampa Police say that details are still being investigated. They have not specified whether the motorcyclist is the one who died, or if they have made an arrest in the hit-and-run.
The investigation forced police to close the westbound lanes of the causeway.
