Haley Loeun, who was the business services director with CareerSource Pinellas and CareerSource Tampa Bay, was fired Thursday.
She was terminated amidst allegations that she had an affair with suspended CEO Ed Peachey.
The Tampa Bay Times also reports that Peachey had signed off on four big raises for Loeun, upping her bay from $47,000 in 2013 to $130,000 last year.
The CareerSource boards will meet next week and are expected to ask for Peachey's resignation.
There are internal and state investigations into allegations that Peachey mislead the state about the number of people actually placed in jobs by the non-profit employment agency that receives tax dollars.
