Pasco County Government is empowering our community members to be part of the solution through a new initiative – Be #PascoProud! Pasco County’s first #PascoProud campaign tackles illegal dumping.
“Illegal dumping negatively impacts our environment, looks terrible and costs taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars every year in clean-up costs,” said Commissioner Mike Moore. “We intend to hold these criminals accountable for their actions. With all of us working together, as a community, we can all make a difference in our own backyard.”
See an area that needs to be cleaned up? Report Illegal Dumping so county crews can take action:Cleaning up the county is a team effort. Neighbors notifying Pasco is the first step to getting rid of blight.
Anyone caught illegally dumping in Pasco County can be fined $500 per day, per item – plus possible cleanup costs.
Take part in one of Keep Pasco Beautiful’s events, such as the Great American Cleanup March 3, or consider being part of Pasco County’s Adopt-A-Road program.
