TARPON SPRINGS (970 WFLA) -- If you like to walk or bike on the Pinellas Trail in Tarpon Springs, get ready to change your routine for a couple of weeks.
Pinellas County government says, beginning today (Monday), part of the Pinellas Trail from Live Oak Street to the U-S 19 overpass in Tarpon Springs will be closed. It's a construction project to repair a walking path and restore a ditch.
The county has detours posted. cyclists will use Spruce Street, Live Oak Street, and Disston Avenue to go around. Pedestrians will have their own detour using Spruce and Live Oak Streets. See the map below: (courtesy Pinellas County government).
