Wesley Chapel, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A Tampa truck driver is in trouble after crashing his tractor-trailer rig on the Northbound Interstate 75 exit ramp to State Road 56.
The rig was carrying sod and spilled the load onto the highway. The mess resulted in a three hour road closure.
Florida Highway Patrol Troopers say 48 year-old Owen Egues was traveling too fast for conditions when he lost control of the truck. Egues is charged with failure to use due care and for faulty equipment for bad tires.
