Tampa, Fla-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A 15 year-old student at Lennard High School has been arrested for bringing a pellet gun on campus. The boy is now charged with one count of disruption of school functions and has been sent to the Hillsborough County Juvenile Assessment Center.
Lennard's School Resource Deputy got some information about a gun on campus. The deputy then had the school suspend class bells so students would have to stay in place on campus.
The deputy and school administrators soon found the student in question and found the pellet pistol in the student's backpack. The pistol was functional and loaded when found.
