New Port Richey, Fla. (970 WFLA)-The Florida Highway Patrol says 73 year old, Kathleen Raspolich of New Port Richey was driving south in the northbound lane of Seven Springs Boulevard,(CR 77), when she crashed head on into a Chrysler Sebring driven by 51 year old Joseph Volpatti of New Port Richey, Monday night.
Sgt Steve Gaskins of the Florida Highway Patrol, says Raspolich was traveling at a high rate of speed and alcohol was involved.
Volpatti is in critical condition, Raspolich suffered serious injuries, both are being treated at Bayonet Hospital. Charges are pending against Raspolich.
