Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA) - The hundreds of thousands of people who took part in the Gasparilla parade and pirate invasion of Tampa Saturday behaved well overall, local police agencies said.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reports that its officers arrested 15 people for operating boats under the influence during the event.
Tampa Police made 20 arrests, they said. One felony for battery on a law enforcement officer, and 19 misdemeanors, 14 of those for underage drinking.
