Pinellas Park, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A collision killed a bicyclist Saturday morning, police said. A man, whose name police had not released, tried to cross 49th St. on his bike and was struck by a vehicle, according to a news release from Pinellas Park Police.
The bike rider died at the scene. The vehicle's driver has cooperated with police, who closed 49th St. between 86th Ave. and 88th Ave. while they investigated. Police said they would release the victim's name after they notified his relatives.
