Palm Harbor, Fla. (970 WFLA)- Slowly sinking! Firefighters are watching a house at 3305 Dorchester Drive in Palm Harbour sink right before their eyes!
The woman who lives at the home called firefighters Tuesday night around 11:30 after hearing loud cracking noises.
She's been evacuated for her safety and is staying at a friends house. Firefighters told Newschannel Eight the baseboards are sinking, the ceiling is dropping... cracks have developed in both the inside and the outside walls and in the swimming pool.
The entire home is sinking at a rate of about an inch every hour. Until engineers arrive later this morning, the situation is being called a possible sinkhole.
