TAMPA (970 WFLA) -- Police have arrested a man they say robbed a spa and raped an employee.
They say it happened Tuesday afternoon around 3:30. According to police, suspect Bruce Darnell Wilson entered Zen Therapy spa on Lois Avenue, distracted the victim and grabbed her while holding a knife, demanding money. He forced the victim into a room and committed the assault, according to TPD. Police arrested Wilson Wednesday.
Wilson, 44, has several run-ins with the law, according to jail records. He was arrested on another charge of sexual battery in September.
