Lakeland, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A man died under suspicious circumstances at his home on East Peachtree Street, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.
Someone called at about 7:30 p.m. Christmas night to report a man dead inside his home. Once deputies deemed the death suspicious, homicide detectifves and crime scene investigators began processing the scene, according to a PCSO news release.
They interview neighbors and try to locate the victim's family to notify them of the death. Newsradio 970 WFLA will update this story on the air and online when it learns more.
