Land O Lakes, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A one-car crash early Tuesday left a man dead and another facing charges in his death, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
State troopers believe that Patrick Sessa, 23, was drunk when he lost control of his Ford SUV on Bell Lake Road and crashed into a ditch at about 1:30 a.m. His passenger, James Stewart, 22, did not have on his seatbelt and fell out of the vehicle, according to an FHP news release.
The SUV rolled over and on top of Stewart, who died from his injuries. Sessa was arrested on a charge of DUI manslaughter and taken to the Pasco County jail.
