FIRE INJURES TWO TAMPA FIREFIGHTERS

TAMPA, FL (970 WFLA) - Two Tampa firefighters suffered injuries early Saturday morning while battling a two-alarm blaze in a Tampa strip mall. 

One of the firefighters was injured by debris. He turned out to be okay, and returned to help put out the blaze. The other firefighter suffered from smoke inhalation, and is expected to recover.  

Tampa Fire and Rescue believes that the fire originated in a nail salon a little before 3 a.m. this morning. The strip mall suffered heavy damage, as the department was able to control the blaze a little after 6 a.m. No other injuries were reported.
