With at least 50,000 people expected to pass through Tampa International Airport this holiday, it's important that passengers do what they can to make the security checks go more quickly.
For instance, the airport's Christine Osborne says there's a new federal security rule that all electronics larger than a cell phone be removed for a separate screening.
She also says don't wrap those presents because screeners may have to unwrap them. And those Nerf guns and toy weapons? Keep those in your checked luggage.
Osborne suggests getting to the airport at least 90 minutes early to avoid rushing or even missing an already packed flight.
