Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA) - The suspect in the Seminole Heights serial killings pleaded not guilty in a Hillsborough County courtroom Tuesday morning.
Howell Donaldson, III waived his right to appear in person at his arraignment. His attorneys filed a written plea on his behalf. Donaldson, 24, faces charges in the four murders between October 9 and November 14 that terrorized a Tampa neighborhood. Police say he shot Benjamin Mitchell, Monica Hoffa, Anthony Naiboa and Ronald Felton to death.
State Attorney Andrew Warren has not announced whether he will seek the death penalty. The next hearing in the case comes January 25.
