BARTOW (970 WFLA) -- A teacher's aide charged with two counts of child abuse at a school in Bartow.
Police say Pamela Ann Murphy, 59, struck a 7 year old non-verbal disabled child in his face a week ago (Dec. 4) , at the Jean O' Dell Learning Center, when he kicked his feet toward her.
Last month, they say, she poured water over a 10-year-old disabled girl's head and called her "(B-word)." The child had taken Murphy's water bottle and drank from it.
Police were advised by another aide, and questioned Murphy, who denied the accusations.
