Tallahassee, Fla. (970 WFLA) - State Senator Greg Steube (R-Sarasota) has filed a bill that would exempt Florida from Daylight Saving Time. The actual text of the bill calls for Florida to stay on Standard Time all year round. However, in polls on his Facebook and Twitter feeds, respondents had overwhelmingly said they prefer staying on Eastern Daylight Time all the time.
