Hillsborough Teachers Fed Up with Latest Pay Offer

Stephanie Baxter-Jenkins is Executive Director of the Hillsborough Classroom Teachers Association.  She says teachers won't settle for the district's latest offer of $1.8 million in teacher bonuses that would amount to roughly $92 bucks a teacher.

"$92 is not an offer they would accept."

She joins other educators outside the Hillsborough School Administration building to take a stand against the lack of what teachers say is an adequate and promised $4,000 pay raise.  Superintendent Jeff Eakins has said the district doesn't have the money.  Baxter-Jenkins says the district did budge a little in the latest round of negotiations and hopes it will lead to a better offer.
