Riverview, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A bar owner shot two brothers who confronted him outside the bar Friday night, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

Stephan Long, 69, and Jeffrey Long, 55, live on the same street as a bar called the Beer Shed. They have had an ongoing dispute with the bar's owner, Mark Sullivan, 57. At about 6:30 p.m. Friday, deputies said, the Longs confronted Sullivan outside the bar on Casa Loma Drive and Stephan punched Sullivan in the face.

Sullivan pulled his .380 caliber pistol and noticed that one of the brothers carried a baseball bat, according to an HCSO news release. He shot both men, hitting Stephan in the chest and Jeffrey in the shoulder. They went to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition.

The bar's surveillance cameras captured the incident. Detectives are consulting with the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office, the news release said, but Sullivan does not face charges yet.
