Gas Prices Set To Rise Again

Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Gasoline prices are expected to start going up again.  Analysts say oil prices have hit a new two year high and OPEC is set to extend an agreement to reduce production levels by almost two million barrels per day.

News of OPEC's potential extension helped crude oil get close to the $60 per barrel mark, the highest since June of 2015.

Ahead of any increase, Florida gas prices are averaging $2.46 per gallon.  That price was down slightly from a week ago, but was 46 cents higher than this time a year ago..

The most expensive gas prices in Florida are at $2.58 in the West Palm Beach-Boca Raton area.  Least expensive gas can be found for $2.37 in Pensacola.
