Wrong-Way Crash on I-75 Kills Three People

Riverview, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A wrong-way crash killed three people on I-75 Thanksgiving night, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Justin Lakin, 21, drove north in the southbound lanes of the Interstate when he crashed his Toyota Corolla into a Ford Focus driven by Lashay Waiters. Waiters, 24, had a passenger in his car, Yvette Alexandre, according to a news release from FHP.

All three went to Tampa General Hospital where they died. The FHP incident report said that alcohol was not involved.
