BuzzFeed News is reporting that the NFL has sent a letter to a female Uber driver, telling her the league has opened an investigation based on her allegations that Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston groped her.
According to the report, the woman says she was transporting Winston, who she says was sitting in the front seat, in Scottsdale, Arizona in March of 2016. She claims he grabbed her crotch.
Winston's representatives tell BuzzFeed the allegations aren't true and that Uber driver couldn't identify who had touched her. They say Winston was named because his Uber account called the ride.
Last year, Winston settled a lawsuit with a woman who accused him of raping her when they were students at FSU.
