St. Petersburg, Fla. (970 WFLA)-The penny for Pinellas one-cent sales tax passed overwhelmingly yesterday with 83-percent support.
The tax is expected to generate two-billion-dollars in revenue between 2020 and 2030 for sewer, road and building projects.
Also, in Clearwater, voters approved allowing construction on the downtown waterfront as part of the imagine Clearwater redevelopment plan.
