Venice, Fla. (970 WFLA)- Two men on-board a 25 foot boat suffered minor injuries after the boat crashed and overturned in the Intracoastal Waterway near the Venice Avenue Bridge, Monday. The two men, a 50 year old and a 28 year old, were thrown from the boat.
Officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commision are investigating, its not clear who was at the helm at the time of the crash.
Venice Firefighters used a fire-hose to disperse the unleaded fuel from the water, that leaked from the boats 80 gallon fuel tank.
