SARASOTA (970 WFLA) -- A 15 year old high school student is facing charges of making a threat on social media.
The Sarasota Sheriff's Office says Reinaldo Garcia, 15, posted a photo of an air gun with the text: "School gunna be lit tomorrow." Detectives went to Garcia's home and interviewed him. He's charged with a felony count of Threats to Kill or Do Bodily Injury.
There was extra police presence at Sarasota's Riverview High today.
