TAMPA (970 WFLA) -- A 54 year old man died in a Tampa fire blamed on a space heater.
Police say Gregory Elledge died at Tampa General, after the heater caught items in his home on fire, in the 10-thousand block of North 23rd Street, Tuesday morning around 7:45.
The fire caused heavy damage in the living room as well.
There were no working smoke detectors, according to Tampa Fire Rescue.
