Lakeland, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A single-vehicle crash killed the driver Saturday night, police said.
Reginald Stanley Morgan, 55, of Lakeland died when he lost control of his Chevrolet van on East Memorial Blvd. at about 10:20 p.m. The van spun and struck a wooden power pole, breaking the pole in two. Morgan died on the scene.
Police had to close the road until Lakeland Electric could replace the pole and restore power to the area.
