Three Facing Tougher New Drug Sentences


St.Petersburg,Fla.(970 WFLA)-Three Pinellas County residents  could face longer  prison time  if found guilty of trafficking in fentanyl.   

Sheriff detectives say  Antwan Jamal Williams ,Diamond Jeanette Winston  and Ralph Robert Daniels  were selling fentanyl, and  marijuana out of a  hotel room at the Candlelight Inn on 34th street North in St. Petersburg.   

 Under a new law signed by Governor Scott, Williams, Daniels and Winston could face a minimum mandatory 25-year prison sentence if convicted .   

This is the first fentanyl trafficking investigation for Pinellas detectives since the new law took effect.
