Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-The Federal Emergency Management Agency is looking for some good workers. The agency is hiring local residents to help-out in the Hurricane Irma disaster recovery effort.
Florida residents can apply by emailing their resumes to FEMA-Workforce-FL@fema.dhs.gov. You are being asked to include the word "Florida" and the name of the job on the subject line. Applicants will then be contacted by email, phone or mail for an interview.
You can find open positions and job listings at careers.fema.gov/hurricane-workforce . The temporary positions include customer service, information technology, logistics and interpreters.
