Tampa Bay, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-One person has been found dead and another is missing and presumed dead after house fires here.
In New Port Richey, a two alarm fire at a house on Leisure lane has a woman missing. Two people managed to escape the flames, but say they could not save an elderly woman on the second floor. Her body has yet to be found.
In Lakeland, a house fire on Green Road has claimed the life of 78 year-old Edward McLaughlin. Three dogs inside the house were also killed. Six other people in the house got out.
Both fires remain under investigation.
