TAMPA (970 WFLA) -- Hillsborough sheriff's deputies have arrested a Riverview man for the murder of his teenage daughter, nearly three months ago.
Colonel Donna Lusczynski says Nahshon Shannon, 37, killed his daughter Janessa Shannon, 13, in an argument, then dumped her body in the Triple Creek Nature Preserve, where a hiker discovered it nine days later.
Janessa Shannon lived in Bradenton with her mother but was staying at the Riverview home when the killing occurred.
Deputies aren't releasing other circumstances surrounding the girl's murder.
