Pasco County, Fla. (970 WFLA)- A semi-tractor trailer truck hauling a load of pumpkins crashed and burst into flames on I-75.
The highway patrol closed the south bounds lanes of the interstate for several hours while crews cleaned up the mess and repaired the damage to the roadway.
The truck driver, 44 year old Lortatia Marshall of Waynsboro, Georgia was not injured.
According to the highway patrol, Marshall lost control of the semi and drove into a crash cushion positioned between southbound I-75's right lane and the exit ramp to SR 52.
