Two childcare workers are accused of abusing an autistic boy... police have a warrant out for their arrest.
Winter Haven police say 26 year old Kaderrica Smith hit the eight year old in the face with a backpack and tripped him up, as well as taunting him, at Our Children's Academy on Avenue C Southeast. It was caught on a snapchat video. We're not posting that video to protect the child's identity.
Smith is charged with battery and child abuse. 20 year old Alexis Henderson is charged with child neglect. Both have been fired from the daycare, and their child care certifications suspended.
