Clearwater, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-The Pinellas County Commission has voted to extend the local state of emergency declared ahead of Hurricane Irma for an additional seven days.
In addition, the Pinellas County Emergency Operations Center will remain activated to coordinate Irma response and recovery operations. Other Pinellas County government offices have reopened for business after Irma, except for the parks. County parks are set to reopen Saturday.
