Four Hour Standoff In New Tampa

Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)-A Tampa man threatening to harm himself, started a four hour standoff with police after he barricaded inside his Colonial Hill Drive apartment, refusing to come out.

32 year old Austin Story shot at police several times during the ordeal.  Members of the  Tampa Police Departments Tactical Response Team fired back and threw a gas canister into the apartment, prompting Story to walk out.  No officers were injured.
