AirBNB Expands Irma Relief to Tampa

TAMPA (970 WFLA) -- Air B-N-B says many of its hosts are offering free rooms for Irma victims, as well as first responders who are here to help.

The company is expanding its Disaster Response Program to the Greater Tampa area, as well as Miami-Dade County and Central Florida.

Spokesperson Kellie Bentz says they couldn't line up the hosts before Irma hit Florida, because the track kept shifting. She's also urging people to sign up with Air B-N-B to offer a bedroom or condo to help out.
