Pinellas County, Fla. (970 WFLA)-An estimated 300 traffic signals are still inoperable due to widespread power-outages in Pinellas County.
Deputies are urging citizens to use due caution while driving on Pinellas County roadways. Sheriff's deputies and local police agencies are collectively working to staff as many intersections as possible.
Deputies say some citizens are causing dangerous situations by not stopping at intersections as required by law.
Please remember to treat intersections with non-functioning traffic signals as a four-way stop. Watch for workers clearing debris and follow all directional instructions and detour signs.
