No More Flights Out Of St. Pete, Thanks to Irma

If you had a flight scheduled out of St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport this weekend, you're out of luck.

The airport is closing.

The airport's Michele Routh says the airport is in Pinellas County's Level A evacuation zone, which is under a mandatory evacuation order that begins at 6 a.m. Friday.

St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport will close at 11 a.m. Friday.  Routh says any questions about previously booked flights this weekend should be directed to the carrier.
