Pinellas County Commissioners have decided to activate a mandatory evacuation of the county's Level A zone beginning Friday morning at 6.
A decision will be made later Friday on whether all those living in evacuations zones B and C should evacuate on Saturday.
Emergency planners say the track of Hurricane Irma is still uncertain and could trend more west, posing a greater and more dangerous impact to the Tampa Bay Area.
