ATLANTA (970 WFLA) -- Thousands of Floridians are heading north on Interstates 75 and 95 to escape Hurricane Irma.
But crossing the Georgia line won't mean they're safe. They still have to find a place to stay.
Hotel rooms in south Georgia have been heavily booked since it became apparent that Irma was aiming for Florida earlier this week.
The Georgia tourism agency has posted a page with links to where Floridians can find lodging in the Peach State, including an interactive map.
HINT: It might not be a good idea to book in Savannah or Brunswick. They're in Irma's path.
