Pulse shooter's wife wants change of venue

ORLANDO (970 WFLA) -- Lawyers for the wife of the Pulse nightclub shooter have filed to move her upcoming trial.

According to documents filed in federal court, they say statements by Orlando police and news coverage have prejudiced the community, and Noor Salman can't get a fair trial here.

Salman is accused of helping her husband, Omar Mateen, carry out the Pulse attack. Mateen died in a gunbattle with police after killing 49 people in the nightclub in June of 2016. No word on when a judge may rule on that motion.
